What is your site fee?

Our site fee is variable based on the type and size of event – please visit our Weddings & Events page to see what’s included in each package.

What is included in your rental fee?

Do you host multiple weddings or events per weekend? 

No, we host only one wedding or event per weekend, always on Saturday.

When is Tyrone Farm available to host weddings?

We are a seasonal venue that runs June through the end of October. 

What is your maximum capacity?

135 guests

Do you have a place for the wedding parties to get ready?

Yes, we have a guest cottage (3 bedroom/2.5 baths) on the property.

Do you have an onsite coordinator we would be working with? 

We do not have an onsite coordinator, but the owners of the estate will be available to assist you in any way.

Are there any rules about when events must end? 

All events must end by 10pm.

Can I bring my own decorations?

Yes – décor must be approved by us in advance and cannot be a fire hazard. We do not allow non-composting items (e.g. fake flowers) to be tossed by your flower girl or guests after the ceremony.

Can our videographer bring a drone?

No, we do not allow drones at Tyrone Farm.

Can my DJ bring more lighting and special effects?

Yes – lighting must be approved by us in advance. We do not allow strobes, snow/smoke machines, excessive light rigs, moving lights.

Are wedding rehearsals included?

Yes, we allow up to an hour for your ceremony rehearsal, coordinated by Tyrone Farm.

Can rehearsal dinners be held at Tyrone Farm?

No, we cannot accommodate your rehearsal dinner. 

Do you allow outside alcohol to be served?

All alcohol must be served by one of our licensed vendors with a catering liquor license issued by the state of Connecticut.
