Granite Pergola

The perfect spot to say “I do,” our Granite Pergola is framed by the English formal garden and offers a breathtaking scenic view.

The Bluestone Terrace

Adjacent to the Main House, the terrace provides a stunning location post-ceremony cocktails under the farm’s seasonal event tent. Surrounded by picturesque stone walls and intricate flower beds, guests will enjoy a beautiful view towards Rhode Island before moving to the Chestnut Barn for dinner, music, and dancing.

The Chestnut Barn

Tyrone Farm’s late-19th century Chestnut Barn has been renovated to create a comfortably elegant space, while maintaining the barn’s original structure. Its handhewn beams, wide-plank floors, and wrought-iron chandeliers provide a beautiful backdrop while allowing you to transform the space into your dream wedding space. We offer a disco ball to set a festive tone and help get your guests on the dance floor.

Tyrone Farm is a timeless 170-acre property in Pomfret, Connecticut. Established in 1742, the farm is a stunning example of a bygone era with quintessential New England charm. Located in Connecticut’s “Quiet Corner,” Tyrone Farm is central to all of Southern New England’s major metropolitan areas. Open seasonally from June through October, our venue’s rustic yet elegant feel is the perfect setting for a peaceful yet exquisite wedding day.

As a third-generation owned family estate, we hold family values dear to our hearts. In order to provide you with the best service possible, we only host one wedding per weekend. We’re devoted to making your day unique and will work beside you to ensure you and your loved ones experience an unforgettable wedding celebration.

Our Environmental Commitment

We are committed to preserving Tyrone Farm for future generations and endeavor to create lasting memories for those who choose to spend their wedding day with us.

How we’re making it happen:

Solar Power – Tyrone Farm has invested in solar power. Our photovoltaic system became operational in June 2008 and provides the majority of our electricity needs.

Open Spaces – Known as “The Last Green Valley,” this area of Connecticut is 70% forest and farmland and most of Tyrone Farm is open spaces of fields and woodlands. This land is recognized by the State of Connecticut and the USDA as prime agricultural land, and much of it is currently used for agricultural purposes. In 2012, most of Tyrone Farm was placed in a conservation easement, and the land will remain open in perpetuity.
